The guitar has been gone through completely receiving a full setup including a level, crown and polish of the frets. There is a light spot on the back of the headstock where a decal was and there are two very faint light spots on the back also from decals. Since it had such a short production life, this is a hard model to find and represents an interesting period when Fujigen was trying to win the Fender Japan deal.Ĭondition wise the guitar is all original and in very good condition with some nicks and dings.

The guitar’s serial number dates it to September 1981, which wasn’t long before Fujigen was awarded the contract to produce guitars for Fender Japan and Greco stopped offering any Fender based models. These GO series were introduced in 1977 and took obvious influences from Alembic in the US. It has scratches and dings, though.I believe everything on it is original G. This is the matching bass to the Greco GO700 guitar we recently got in and, well, they really are amazing quality builds from the Fujigen factory in the late seventies.

It is in pretty good shape for being more than 40 years old. It sounds and feels better than Gibsons from that same era and a lot of more recent Gibsons.
